My Own Top-10 Recommended Reading List

1. Lord of the Flies

This novel, by William Golding, is a gripping novel depicting a small group of English schoolboys, who are stranded on a deserted island. The novel reveals and focuses on two opposing sides of human nature, the civilized one, versus the savage and cruel one. Personally, I enjoyed this novel greatly because of its page-turning plot, characters, and style. The author does a brilliant job of building the suspense, and maintaining it, until the climax, which is hard to identify since the entire book is so intense. I would highly recommend this book since it is powerful and entertaining, but at the same time thought-provoking and deep.
